For an our of this world experience, go to Namibia s Etosha National Park. I went there there last month with two old friends and had an amazing time.
We hired a car. a Land Cruiser, wich was great for the less- than perfect roads - and just drove around for a week. The wildlife was incredible. We saw elephants drinking by a pool, a lion chasing a deer, two giraffes eating the leaves of a tall tree, and many types of bird.
At night we stayed in a tent in one of the many campsites in the area.
It was wonderful to wake up to the sound of silence!
After a week we went to Windhock, Namibia s capital, but I would live to go back to Etosha one day.
